Go the way of the Goat

Say Cheese!

 See these precious people?

The mom and daughter enjoying a day away together?

These are the people we get to meet every time we have a Cheese Class here...

The mother & son (who is driving now?!?!?!?!) coming to their

second annual Basilwood Cheese Class?

Two families joined together by way of marriage last year who just wanted

to hang out together for an afternoon...

This is a BIG reason we do this.

The two friends enjoying a day away together, or the wife whose sweet husband

bought her places for the class five months in advance for a birthday present.

The beloved niece whose Aunt brought her as a relaxing getaway after finals!

We promised her there would be no quizzes ;-)

And the trio of three generations... hearts of gold these three.  The precious

lady in the middle was very quiet during the workshop, but when it came time to

leave, she just kept telling me how much she enjoyed herself and giving me

hug after hug.  I just want her to know that it felt like my grandmother was back

with us in those "hug" moments, and I was extremely blessed by her.

Yes, it's fun to learn new things and pass on that knowledge to others, but the real gift is in

the people that come up here to weave the fabric that is Basilwood. We are greatly

blessed by all of you. Thank you.

A Day at the Farm with the Friginals..

If you give a guy a camera (okay, his is newer

but this one made a good photo)...

he might come over to your house with his family,

and take pictures like this,

and this...

or this...

and then he might get hungry, and take pictures like this...

or this.

After dinner, he might take more pictures...

And all of the people on the farm would be very happy!

Thanks so much to Mariano Friginal (the guy with the camera)

for bringing his family up to spend the evening with us in Basilwood.

Detox!

All of us have encountered things on or in our skin (especially on the face) that we would much rather do without, right?!  Acne, for one, clogged pores, for another. Or just a nasty build-up from dirt, grime and make-up.  The good news is that Activated Charcoal, a key ingredient in our Basilwood Farm Detox goat milk soap actually binds with the impurities to pull them up and out of

your skin. We also use Tea Tree essential oil to add anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties and a healthy dose of avocado oil to the other natural skin-loving oils for an extra gentle moisture boost.  Since you probably won't need to use Detox on a daily basis, we recommend using Caeden's Choice

for your daily facial cleansing regimen, and Detox as needed.  Oh, yeah... as a facial bar, either one of these will last you six months. Not bad, huh??  Great skin care does not have to be ridiculously expensive ;-)
